According to a study carried out by the specialized firm ClarkeModet, the new Federal Law for the Protection of Industrial Property will allow tools and technologies such as Blockchain and artificial intelligence to become a trend in Mexican companies during 2021. This was reported from the portal „En lĂnea directa“, last January 4.

According to that media, the firm detailed: „2020 brought changes in all sectors of companies, in terms of sales, administration, internal strategies and much more, so now more than ever, companies have the need to implement tools that help them manage innovation strategically, protect themselves and facilitate this process of adaptation to the new normality“.

It should also be noted that ClarkeModet highlighted two trends: blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.

„Through Blockchain it is possible to make a record with precise information of the entire process of innovation of a product from its creation until it goes to market,“ said the firm specialized in Intellectual Property.

As for the artificial intelligence, they highlighted: „The AI are algorithms created with the intention that a system tries to imitate the thought, capacities and human intelligence, in addition, it helps to diminish the margin of error at the moment of making a search and to verify the patentability or registration. By its nature, it will be especially relevant in industries such as finance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and research in development.
